The aerial parade witnessed the presence of MiG-29 fighters and Su-25 attack aircraft, the most modern fighter jets in North Korean service.

North Korea’s main battle tanks in the parade also seem to have been upgraded, equipped with new armor with more angles.

All types of weapons test-fired by North Korea in the period 2019-2020 appeared in the parade, including a super-large rocket artillery system with a range of 400 km, enough to threaten most US bases.

Four vehicles carrying submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs) paraded past the stage.

The new ICBM model was launched by North Korea during the military parade.

The highlight of the ceremony was the appearance of four transport vehicles and launchers (TELs) carrying a new ICBM model, larger in size and seemingly developed from the Hwasong-15 series.

`It is a liquid-fueled rocket mounted on the largest mobile chassis in the world,` commented expert Ankit Panda of the Union of American Scientists.

NK News experts believe that this missile model can carry many independent reentry warheads, helping to expand the attack range and make it difficult for the enemy missile defense network.

The ceremony ended after two hours with an artistic performance.
